Abstract In Nature

When I am standing off in the distance looking out into a garden, or even getting in my steps at a local garden center, the explosion of color is the first trigger of an instantaneous sensory overload. Moments like this have influenced the intention and deliberateness of my photographic style.

My lens is my brush, and the slightest flick of my wrist turns the ordinary into the abstract. Beauty becomes intriguing, thoughts are paused, and the challenge to push creation into a different perspective begins.

My grandmother shared, “you will always have more with less!” She could have never known the extent of her inspiring words.
