Curiosity
Have you ever considered tracking your curiosity? Really? When was the last time a thought or an idea about something or someone popped into your head, and then you took the time to research it so you could learn more? I’m not talking about scrolling your social media feed and then believing what you are reading simply because it was on social media. Are people losing their ability to think for themselves anymore? Some recent social media threads have had the world ablaze with less-than-accurate information. I’m trying to be kind here! Are we even curious about the truth anymore?
“Traveling through life with curiosity rather than judgement is how one finds the magic in each moment.”
Erin Chatters

“In modern society, most people have access to the same information. People are distinguished much more by the questions they ask than by the answers they have access to.”
James Pierce
You would think that if people felt their opinions were valued, they would do a much better job of reinforcing them before they shared them. A little fact-finding and checking on our sources would erase a lot of the judgement that goes on in the world. I hope I never stop being curious, and for all of those times I let my guard down, I hope I felt stronger as a person for acknowledging my mistake.
“The worst decision most adults make is to stop asking questions - trading their curiosity for the appearance of competence.”
Sven Schneider
When I was a kid, there was a man who brought a little magic into our house every Sunday night. He went on to create a lot of happiness for people worldwide. I am so glad he understood the importance of being curious!
“Around here we don’t look backwards for very long… We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things becasue we’re curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
Walt Disney
