Happy 4th Of July!

The sweet sounds, looks, and smells, of summer! Let there be no mistake, we all have triggers of some of the best moments of summer fun and what they mean to us. While this picture of Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard may not be an exact replica of my own childhood, there is plenty of symbolism to connect summer to each of us.

The bright peaceful sunshine interrupted by spotted shade, the vibrant colors of freshly painted houses, flags draped at ease on a breezless summer morning. Silence echoing on empty streets, no rush to get things done on a lazt day in summer.

On this day, close your eyes and walk into this frame. Breathe in, deeply, listen attentively, dream a summer dream with me. What was, is still! If the world has changed, so shall it be, memories are special and for all of us to keep. Enjoy your 4th!
