Being Still

Being still in its entirety is not only a difficult thing to do, it is often looked upon as a sign of something being wrong or out of sorts with the normal. I know right, define normal! Yet, welcoming an intentional stillness and some quiet time into our day can be the ultimate magic pill capable of naturally delivering the peace of mind we so desperately crave.

“The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind.”

Albert Einstein

One of my greatest resources in getting to be more mindful of what life is really all about, has been an increasing ability to reflect on not only the behaviors that are responsible for this moment, but those leading up to it. The best results for an improvement with future outcomes, often come to life during a peaceful moment of quiet stillness.

“True silence is rest of the mind, and is to the spirit what sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment.”

William Penn

Change for the good often begins with a subtle awareness inside of ourselves matched with a deliberate stillness to quite the mind. Be still friends!

“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”

Mahatma Gandhi
