Open Up

My screens have been in for a few weeks now! The invigorating feeling I get when I can open up the doors and windows letting the outside in is palpable. Even on cool days the rising sun heats the air just enough to deliver a sense of warmth that only weeks ago had me shivering.

Rabbits, pesky groundhogs, and the arrival of hummingbirds, work together to erase my fears of a late season snow. Farm stands, ice cream shops, and other roadside drive-ins, have all opened their doors for another season of favorites.

For the rest of us, it is a perfect time to open ourselves up to a world of new experiences. New beginnings made possible by packing away our emotional baggage. They do nothing but create cobwebs in our minds, adding age to our presence. Make today the day you open up your heart and soul to a whole world of fresh new growth!
