Savoring
I am understanding moments in ways that deliver a richness I never knew existed. Of course, in order for this to happen, I must provide the pause needed in order for the moment to exist, without a pause, moments are nothing more than elapsed time.
If your life was a light box of all the moments you took the time to appreciate, would you do some editing, or would you prefer to leave them as candid as when you found them? What I am learning by savoring the moments I am intentional with is there is no need for edits.
Much practice went into getting to where I am now. My moments are as quick and synchronized as the pendulum on my clock. Back and forth, one after another, except when I add my pause, that moment when time freezes for me.
For every moment I can harness myself to, there are other moments I miss. Yet, moments are time, and time is what makes me rich. If I continue to savor the moments that are looking for me, I will accumulate the kind of riches that only time can deliver!
