Patience

I once wished I had a job raking leaves. I thought my only worry would be the intensity of the wind undoing what I was trying to accomplish. Then, I questioned my ability of having enough patience to deal with something I have no control over.

We allow our own emotions to intensify by the line in the grocery store, traffic congestion, the Sunday driver in a passing lane, a screaming child, and yes even a try at a relaxing day of fishing on a favorite lake.

Our natural ability to lean on the gift of patience is our best chance of eliminating the triggers which rob us of inner peace, moving us to a place where we can only talk about, “the one that got away!”.

Talk soon…
