Renovation

We journey through life constantly renovating our outward appearance. We are intentional with our choices, yet there is also this natural patina process we experience which can only come with age. All of the ooh’s and ahh’s and even some OMG’s, begin to line up as we put our new best self on display.

If we are fortunate enough to recognize and become deliberate with renovating ourselves from the inside out, how then will we go about sharing our new best self with the world? Emotional change can be very subtle, we will never hear the OMG’s, yet there will be whispers of a new light that is begining to shine.

Much of the old will always be with us, those elements of character that enabled our light to perhaps dim a bit but never go out. When we turn our lessons and experiences into wisdom, and we find the courage to share our internal renovation with the world, it becomes the moment our light shines the brightest.
