Simply

I was recently at a public garden playing around with a new lens. Most often when I head out, unless I am working on a specific project or theme, I have no idea of what might pop into my sight. I was working with a new super telephoto lens and mimicked standing on a wind up music box, slowly turning around in one spot. I was certainly using my lens as a spotter scope as opposed to a camera at this point.

From across the deeply manicured space, in an outdoor garden room, resting on a round wooden table with a couple of rickety old wooden chairs, sat this beauty. I can make plans to get up early, or go out later in the day and use the light to naturally embellish those things around me, or I can choose to not think about any of that and simply go, letting this type of moment find me!

Talk soon…
