There really isn’t anything still about fire, right?

Right around this time of the year I am already looking for signs of a seasonal change poking up through the warming soil here in Southern New England.

Does the elephant in the room become more obvious when we are standing in front of a mirror?

Trying to focus in a world of distractions is as impossible as being without thoughts while meditating.

Along with all of the joy and festiveness that I feel at this time of the year, I like to spend time in reflection of my own behaviors.

There is a constant in this life, which is not unique to any of us. With the start of each day there will be a never ending flow of thoughts that enter our minds.

We don’t usually think of our emotions as ingredients, do we?

Every moment in our lives comes with an opportunity to cross paths with an awareness of our surroundings.

With all of our best effort to get it all done, to have more, to do more, we short change ourselves with the most important element of our own survival.

Life often places obstacles in our way, so much so that it can feel like our momentum to move through it all becomes stuck.

The journey has always been uphill, but it was never supposed to be this quick.

Life is so much more than just a journey. Each of us has an opportunity to create a soap box moment where we can rise above it all.

There is value in the moments which present to us each day.

Change is evident in life, as near a guarantee as the rise and setting of the sun.
