Surround Yourself
Each of us moves from one day into the next, carrying thoughts from our past, the moment we are in, and those which we have yet to catch up to.

Be Different
There is no work involved if we choose to become the same image as our surroundings. We will just blend in and no one will pay attention to us.

Imperfect Perfection
The cold, dark, grey sky, empty boat slips, no human sightings, all in stark contrast to what would be expected during the summer months.

The Approach
We are sliding into the end of another year. In a few short days from now there is going to be an opportunity for a new beginning in your life.

Solitude
Establishing an environment that is conducive to your writing success is another important element for you to consider as you begin your writing journey. I have a very short list of what works for me and my list is very adaptable and portable so that no matter where I am I can establish the right space no matter where I might be.

Repeat
A while back I was writing and talking about how I go about establishing a pattern where I write every day. The exercise I decided on actually takes me back almost 8 years ago. After on and off attempts over the years of trying to establish a pattern of writing every single day I finally tripped over a method that worked for me.

The Path Is Clear
There is no right way or wrong way to approach all of your creative projects. What really matters is what you can put together in order to make things work best for you.

The Road Ahead
Who doesn’t think about the road ahead? Even if you’re successful with living in the moment, one could argue the value of the moment if it is filled with hurt and pain. Do moments absent of wonderful feelings make the pleasurable ones even more enjoyable?

Shops With Windows
There was a time when i thought I loved the experience you get when you walk around a mall. I might even say that I still feel that way when I go into a store like Macy’s, even though many are attached as the main anchor to many of the malls in this country.

Local Flavor
You would think that when you are traveling someplace for the first time you would want to take along your camera and grab as many photographs as possible, right? I know, I think the same thing, well at least that is how I used to think.

Go Looking
In lasts weeks post I wrote about this need I have developed to be looking down alley ways when I am traveling. To me they tell a story about the places I visit, they speak to me in historical tones that I most likely won’t see on Main St.

A Little Bit Of Postcard
I have had both the privilege and the pleasure of traveling extensively over the last 10 years or so. Much of that travel has happened here in the United States and perhaps equally as much in Italy and other part sof Europe.
